How Much Does Designrr Cost?

Before everything else, let’s talk about Designrr’s pricing because you would either need its subscription or its lifetime deal to use this ebook software. We found the pricing structure a little bit tricky. There are three different tiers, and for each tier, you can choose to pay on a monthly basis, or every year.

Designrr Pricing Plans

After our seven-day free trial with Designrr ended, we had several options when it came to paid subscriptions.

Designrr currently offers the following subscription plans – Standard ($29/month), Pro ($39/month), Premium ($49/month), and Business ($99/month). It also offers a separate Agency plan which costs $249 per month.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s included in each plan.

From the above table, you can see that project templates, unlimited ebook generation, free images, fonts, import features, export to PDF, and free trial are common to all the plans.

For features like a 3D cover image tool, ebook cover, PDF import, transcription, and export to Kindle, iBooks, and Epub, you would need a plan higher than the Standard.

For most users, the Standard plan with basic features would be enough. You could also take advantage of the Designrr lifetime deal where you could get this plan at a one-time fee of only $27 instead of paying a $29 subscription fee every month.

Designrr is virtually risk-free because it offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. You can cancel your subscription for any reason within the first 30 days of it and get your money back.

Designrr Features

In this section, I will take you through Designrr’s features and benefits. This isn’t by any means an exhaustive list of all Designrr features. New features are always added to improve the software.

For example, Designrr very recently launched its AI tool called Wordgenie which can generate content for your ebooks. So, to see how well Designrr works, I am focusing on the most important features, including the import content, ebook templates, Designrr editor, exporting ebook, and Wordgenie AI.

Importing Content

Designrr can import content from varied sources as listed below.

• Blog articles
• Documents (Google Docs or Microsoft Word)
• Old PDFs
• YouTube vidoes
• Podcasts

To import content from sources as mentioned above, you need to enter the source URL in the Designrr Dashboard and click on the Fetch button. In the above screenshot, you can see that I have fetched one of my blog post using this features. If you want to import content from another URL, you can again enter your URL and fetch it.

Ebook Templates

Designrr offers hundreds of pre-designed ebook templates that you can customize as per your requirements. After you fetch your content, you need to select any one of the templates offered by Designrr. Below you can see some samples of the ebook templates.

Before selecting any template, you can preview it to check the layout and design. After selecting a template, you’ll be taken to the Designrr editor where you can design you ebook. Please note that each templates are fully customizable which means that you can easily add, edit, or delete elements of the templates.

Designrr Editor

The Designrr editor lets you create perfect design for your ebook. Like any other editor, you can set padding, and margins to elements like text, or images.

You can change font size, font colors, letter spacing, line height, border, and more. To make your ebook more engaging and readable, you can also add ebook cover image, background color, page number and table of contents.

The editor interface is not as smooth as you would find in word processing software like Microsoft Word or its alternatives (like Google Docs).

However, with little bit of practice, you will get used to it. Please note that in the Designrr editor interface, you have the option to change your template or import more content from your blog or other sources.

Exporting Ebook

After completing an ebook, you can export it to your computer in formats like PDF or flipbooks. If you’re on the Standard plan, these are the two formats in which you can download your ebooks.

If you’re on the higher plan such as Pro or Premium, you can download ebooks in Kindle and EPUB format also.

After downloading ebooks, you can now share it on your website as a lead magnet to build email list. You can also share it on social media or with your email subscribers through newsletters. Your Designrr account also gives you the right to sell the ebooks on market place or to your clients.

Wordgenie AI

The Wordgenie AI tool by Designrr allow users to create content for their ebooks. If you don’t have the skill to write or you don’t have the time to create content for your ebook, then you can try Wordgenie.

This AI tool is based on ChatGPT and based on your input (topic or niche), it create title, outlines, and chapters for your ebook. Further, based on the chapters created, it can generate chapter-wise content for your ebook.

Thus, using the Wordgenie tool, you can create a complete ebook within a few minutes. As per my experience with this tool, it takes around 10 mintues to generate full content.

After having the content, you just need to select a ebook template, edit it in Designrr Editor, and finally download the completed ebook to your computer in your preferred format.

Designrr Bonuses

Designrr offers some exciting bonuses along with your purchase. The bonus include full commercial license which means that you have the full authority over the ebook created using Designrr.

You can use it for generating leads, sell it on Amazon or other ebook market place, or sell ebook creation services to your clients.

24 by 7 Customer Support

You get 24 by 7 customer support from Designrr. They don’t have the regular ticket system. To contact a customer executive, you need to contact them via the chat option available on their site.

Though the chat option is not real-time but you can expect to get replies within a couple of hours. I have contacted quite a few times and got replies under an hour. As per my experience, the customers support team is quite good and helpful.

Recap

Like any other ebook software, Designrr has its flaws, but they’re very minimal and the benefits definitely outweigh the costs, financial and otherwise.

With its ability to convert existing content into ebooks, generate content for ebooks, excellent customer support, and affordable prices, Designrr is a good fit for most people who don’t want to spend money on expensive software or on hiring professional writers.
